As Vice President of Research, Monique Levy manages the company's research team and global research portfolio of consumers, physicians and other healthcare stakeholders. Prior to joining Manhattan Research in 2008, Levy was Senior Analyst at JupiterResearch for six years, leading US health research. Earlier in her career, Levy applied her health psychology expertise at eDiets.com, to build and manage its community platform, refine retention strategy and identify acquisitions, winning a Webby Award for an interactive weight loss management program. She also was involved in a manufacturing start up in China and worked on development issues at the World Bank and Pan American Health Organization.
Levy has been quoted in major media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and The Economist as well as trade media including MedAdNews and regularly speaks at industry conferences.
Levy graduated from Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service, with a B.S. in International Politics and International Health. She also holds an M.A. in Clinical Health Psychology from Yeshiva University, where she completed clinical and research externships at major health institutions in New York, including Mount Sinai Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital. The therapeutic areas Levy covered during this time include cardiac disease, breast cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, women's health, and pain management.
