Taking the Pulse® Asia: Asian Physicians and Emerging Information Technologies, is a syndicated multi-client study and advisory service focusing on technology adoption and integration trends in physician practices across Asia. As the only annual research study of its kind, Taking the Pulse® Asia aims to provide healthcare and pharmaceutical marketers with the key behavioral, attitudinal and demographic data needed to reach and influence the Asian physician market through the Internet and other technology. The service is part of Manhattan Research’s overall insight into global digital trends. Taking the Pulse® Asia v9.0 study looked at physicians in the Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Australia. The next iteration, version 10.0, could contain all of the v9.0 countries, as well as India. We will be contacting clients of v9.0 and v10.0 in Q4, 2009 to gain insight into orders of priority. Key topics include the Internet, email communication, PDAs/smartphones, electronic medical records, web-based sampling, practice websites, and more.
